1. Introduction and Summary
Welcome to the Terms of Service (“Terms”) of PPT DOC Translator (“Platform”), a service offered by Hoplo S.r.l.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.
2. Definitions
2.1 “PPT DOC Translator” or “Platform”: the service offered by Hoplo S.r.l.
2.2 “User”: any natural or legal person using the Platform.
2.3 “Generated Content”: any output the Platform produces in response to User inputs.
2.4 “Services”: all functionalities, tools, and resources offered through the Platform.
2.5 “LLM”: Large Language Models.
2.6 “User Data”: any information provided by the User during the use of the Platform.
2.7 “Intellectual Property”: includes, but is not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and know-how.
3. Acceptance of Terms
3.1 The use of the Platform is subject to the full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
3.2 Acceptance occurs through the actual use of the Platform or the creation of an account.
3.3 The User declares to have read, understood, and accepted all conditions, including potentially onerous clauses.
4. Nature and Purpose of PPT DOC Translator
4.1 PPT DOC Translator is a Platform that provides content generation assistance services using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
4.2 Key features: a) We use commercial LLMs provided by third parties. b) Our role is to generate specific internal prompts to obtain the desired result for the User. c) We are not developers of proprietary AI models nor do we directly provide LLM services. d) We act as intermediaries between the User and third-party AI services.
4.3 The User acknowledges that PPT DOC Translator is not a direct provider of AI or LLM services, but an intermediary using such technologies.
5. Use of the Platform
5.1 Age and Capacity Requirements 5.1.1 The User must be at least 18 years old. 5.1.2 The User declares to have the full legal capacity to accept these Terms.
5.2 Permitted Use 5.2.1 The User agrees to use the Platform only for legal purposes, in compliance with copyright laws and other applicable regulations. 5.2.2 It is forbidden to violate third-party rights or applicable laws, including data protection regulations.
5.3 Prohibited Use It is expressly forbidden to: a) Violate laws or regulations. b) Interfere with the operation of the Platform. c) Unauthorized access to systems. d) Transmit harmful or malicious material. e) Impersonate third parties. f) Use the Platform for fraudulent purposes.
5.4 Fair Use Clause 5.4.1 PPT DOC Translator reserves the right to implement usage limits to prevent abuse or overload of the Platform. 5.4.2 The User agrees not to exceed such limits or attempt to circumvent them.
6. Account and Security
6.1 Account Registration 6.1.1 The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials, in compliance with data protection regulations. 6.1.2 The User agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
6.2 Account Security 6.2.1 The User is responsible for maintaining the security of their account and must immediately notify PPT DOC Translator of any unauthorized use. 6.2.2 PPT DOC Translator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Generated Content and Intellectual Property
7.1 User Responsibility 7.1.1 The User is solely responsible for the Generated Content. 7.1.2 PPT DOC Translator assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of the Generated Content.
7.2 PPT DOC Translator’s Intellectual Property 7.2.1 All intellectual property rights related to the Platform belong to PPT DOC Translator. 7.2.2 These rights include copyright, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets.
7.3 Limited License 7.3.1 The User receives a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license for personal use of the Platform. 7.3.2 The license does not include the right to modify, sell, or exploit the Platform.
7.4 Feedback and Suggestions 7.4.1 Any feedback provided may be used by PPT DOC Translator without restrictions. 7.4.2 The User grants a worldwide, perpetual, and royalty-free license for the use of feedback.
7.5 Third-Party Content 7.5.1 PPT DOC Translator is not responsible for generated content that may incorporate or be based on third-party sources. 7.5.2 The User is responsible for verifying the usage rights of such content.
8. Acceptance of Third-Party LLM Service Terms
8.1 Use of Third-Party LLM Services 8.1.1 PPT DOC Translator uses LLM services provided by third parties. 8.1.2 Providers include, but are not limited to, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Stability AI.
8.2 Acceptance of LLM Provider Terms 8.2.1 The User agrees to be bound by the terms of service of the LLM providers used by PPT DOC Translator. 8.2.2 The User specifically accepts the terms of: a) OpenAI (https://openai.com/policies/terms-of-use) b) Anthropic (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/terms) c) Google AI (https://ai.google/terms/) d) Stability AI (https://stability.ai/terms-of-use) 8.2.3 The User is responsible for familiarizing themselves with these terms.
8.3 Compliance and Responsibility 8.3.1 The User agrees to use the Services in compliance with the terms of each LLM provider. 8.3.2 Violation of such terms may result in suspension of access to PPT DOC Translator Services.
8.4 Limitation of PPT DOC Translator’s Liability 8.4.1 PPT DOC Translator is not responsible for changes or interruptions to LLM providers’ services. 8.4.2 The User indemnifies PPT DOC Translator from claims arising from violation of LLM providers’ terms.
8.5 Conflicts Between Terms 8.5.1 In case of conflict, the more restrictive terms will prevail. 8.5.2 PPT DOC Translator cannot modify the terms of LLM providers.
9. User Responsibility and Indemnities
9.1 General Responsibility 9.1.1 The User is responsible for all activities occurring under their account. 9.1.2 The User agrees to use the Platform in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
9.2 Indemnity for Generated Content 9.2.1 The User agrees to review all Generated Content before use. 9.2.2 The User indemnifies PPT DOC Translator from any claims arising from the use of Generated Content.
9.3 General Indemnity 9.3.1 The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless PPT DOC Translator from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from a) Improper use of the Platform. b) Violation of the Terms or third-party rights. c) Generated Content that violates intellectual property or privacy rights. d) Decisions based on Generated Content. 9.3.2 This indemnity applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9.4 No Warranty for AI-Based Decisions 9.4.1 The User acknowledges that decisions based on AI-generated content are their sole responsibility. 9.4.2 PPT DOC Translator does not guarantee the suitability of Generated Content for any specific purpose.
10. Limitations of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties 10.1.1 The Platform is provided “as is,” without warranties. 10.1.2 PPT DOC Translator does not guarantee the platform’s accuracy, completeness, or availability. 10.1.3 This disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
10.2 Limitation of Liability 10.2.1 To the extent permitted by law, PPT DOC Translator is not liable for a) Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. b) Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses. c) Damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform. 10.2.2 PPT DOC Translator’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the User in the last 12 months or 100 Euros, whichever is less.
10.3 Force Majeure 10.3.1 PPT DOC Translator is not liable for failures or delays due to force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, technical failures outside our control.
11. Privacy and Data Usage
11.1 Personal Data Processing 11.1.1 PPT DOC Translator collects and processes User personal data in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. 11.1.2 For complete details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
11.2 Data Usage 11.2.1 PPT DOC Translator may use User data to improve Services and for research and development purposes. 11.2.2 User data will not be sold to third parties.
11.3 Data Security 11.3.1 PPT DOC Translator implements appropriate security measures to protect User data. 11.3.2 However, the User acknowledges that no system is completely secure and accepts the risks associated with transmitting information over the Internet.
11.4 Data Retention 11.4.1 PPT DOC Translator retains User data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law. 11.4.2 The User may request deletion of their data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
11.5 International Data Transfer 11.5.1 The use of third-party LLM services may involve the transfer of data outside the EU. 11.5.2 Such transfers occur in compliance with applicable regulations.
12. Changes to the Service and Terms
12.1 Changes to Services 12.1.1 PPT DOC Translator reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services or any part thereof, with or without notice. 12.1.2 The User agrees that PPT DOC Translator will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.
12.2 Changes to Terms 12.2.1 PPT DOC Translator may modify these Terms at any time. 12.2.2 Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. 12.2.3 Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12.3 Notification of Changes 12.3.1 For substantial changes, PPT DOC Translator will provide adequate notice to Users. 12.3.2 It is the User’s responsibility to regularly check for updates to the Terms.
13. Termination and Cessation
13.1 Termination by User 13.1.1 The User may cease using the Platform at any time. 13.1.2 To close the account, the User must follow the procedures indicated on the Platform.
13.2 Termination by PPT DOC Translator 13.2.1 PPT DOC Translator may terminate or suspend access to the Platform immediately, without notice, for any reason, including violation of the Terms. 13.2.2 Upon termination, all rights granted to the User under these Terms cease.
13.3 Effects of Termination 13.3.1 Upon termination, the User must immediately cease using the Platform. 13.3.2 Sections relating to intellectual property, indemnities, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution will survive termination.
13.4 Post-Termination Data Retention 13.4.1 PPT DOC Translator may retain User data after termination for the period necessary to comply with legal or contractual obligations.
14. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Applicable Law 14.1.1 These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Italy. 14.1.2 The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
14.2 Jurisdiction 14.2.1 Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy. 14.2.2 This clause applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
14.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution 14.3.1 Before initiating legal action, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through mediation. 14.3.2 Mediation will be conducted in accordance with applicable mediation rules.
14.4 Class Action Waiver 14.4.1 The User waives the right to participate as a representative or member of any class action lawsuit against PPT DOC Translator.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement 15.1.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and PPT DOC Translator regarding the use of the Platform. 15.1.2 They supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreement, written or oral, relating to the subject matter of these Terms.
15.2 Severability 15.2.1 If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be modified and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law. 15.2.2 The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver 15.3.1 The failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. 15.3.2 No waiver shall be considered a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
15.4 Assignment 15.4.1 The User may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of PPT DOC Translator. 15.4.2 PPT DOC Translator may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
15.5 Force Majeure 15.5.1 PPT DOC Translator will not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, telecommunications or energy services interruptions.
15.6 Notices 15.6.1 All notices to PPT DOC Translator must be sent to the email address: [insert email address]. 15.6.2 PPT DOC Translator may send notices to the User via email to the address provided during registration or through notifications on the Platform.
15.7 Language 15.7.1 These Terms are drafted in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only, and in case of conflict, the English version shall prevail.
15.8 Export Control Compliance 15.8.1 The User agrees to comply with all applicable export control laws and economic sanctions regulations.
